We have several different tours that all travels through scenic roads, beautiful and interesting historical places.  The tours are adjusted to group’s capacity and pass through National parks and interesting sights. We have the possibility to bike on different roads types, from easy flat gravelled- or asphalted roads, to advanced technical parts in the forest for them that are well skilled. Below we have some suggestions on tours, although there are usually several possibilities of variation of the tour according to the interests of the participants. Usually we start with a tour through the unique Nationalstadpark of Stockholm. The park consists of several islands with wonderful nature and roads that stretches far out from the center of the town.

During our guided tours is always included a beverage and a baguette in the price, which we consume at a suitable place. The tours take 3 hours. We have two tours every day, one in the morning between 9:00-12:00, and one at the afternoon between 13:00- 16:00. The booking is preferably done at the latest the day before the tour; this in order to guarantee that there is room for the participants and to tailor the tour.

Stockholm is water


Together we cycle over the bridge to Djurgården, where many of the sights of Stockholm; as Skansen, several other museums and beautiful, valuable historical buildings, can be found. We cycle along the water surrounded by at lush green and see the boats on their way to/from the archipelago passing by.  Djurgården was historically the king hunting ground and today the island is a part of the newly established Nationalstadspark. The speed is adjusted according to the participants and we take time to take some breaks to take photos. I sheer my knowledge about the archaeology and cultural history of Stockholm.

My aspiration is that the tour shall be enjoyable and that you will experience the feeling of the interactions between the water and Stockholm that surrounds the town.  In the middle of the tour we choose a suitable place where we consume our sandwiches and beverage. This tour will not make you sweaty. It is suitable for you that want to have a relaxing tour in the surroundings of Stockholm. This tour is suitable to bring the children in a child seat or in a bike trailer.  

 

The Royal tour

This tour goes to the castle of Drottningholm situated at a short distance from the central town. The King and the Queen lives at the castle. The crown princess and he siblings was raised here. In order to reach the castle, we cycle at cycle paths. After one hour of easy pace cycling we arrive to the castle where our forthcoming prince, Daniel Westling, proposed to our crown princess Victoria. Now there is time to take a food break and a walk in the castle park before we go back to the town. In order to enjoy this tour, you ought to have some experience of cycling and be able to cycle for one hour in a easy pace  before we arrives to the castle.
